Why Buy an Approved Used car from Dick Lovett?

You’ve probably heard of the term ‘approved used’ — but what does that actually mean? Well, for us it’s a mark of quality that you might not find with other used car dealerships. To achieve approved used status from Dick Lovett means that a vehicle has passed our test — it will have been inspected by our highly trained and experienced technicians.

If any faults have been found, rest assured these will have been fixed — using only genuine manufacturer parts — before the car is passed and cleared for sale.

When you buy an approved used car from Dick Lovett, we strive to ensure it’s in the very best condition. In addition to our rigorous inspections and pre-sale checks, we also carry out the following:

Vehicle history and mileage check – there are no hidden secrets with our cars. Every approved used vehicle has a history check to make sure it hasn’t been written off by a previous owner, or stolen. We’ll check and verify the car’s mileage, and that there’s no outstanding finance remaining on it.

Service history – our expert team will also check the car’s service history, and note whether it’s been serviced at the correct intervals. If the car is due a service, our technicians will carry out manufacturer approved servicing before it’s made available for sale.

Our after-sales care is designed to keep your approved used BMW, MINI, Porsche, Aston Martin, Jaguar, Land Rover, and Ferrari in prime condition. Dick Lovett offers a range of servicing plans, including pay monthly servicing for BMW approved used cars and used MINI, and fixed price servicing for used Aston Martin. We have service offers on used Jaguar, Land Rover, Porsche, and BMW Motorrad, too.

You can also manage your MOT with Dick Lovett too, while our specialist bodyshops are available to smooth out any bumps and scuffs.

We have hundreds of approved used cars in stock across our official dealerships — and your next ride is among them, waiting to be matched with you.

The Dick Lovett approved used range covers a huge selection of different models in a choice of body styles – including convertibles, coupés, estates, hatchbacks, SUV’s, saloon’s, and MPV’s. Whether you want a stylish and practical used Range Rover Velar, a sleek used BMW 4 Series Gran Coupé, or a cheeky around-town used MINI Cooper, we’ll have exactly what you're looking for.

Want to make a real statement on the road with a used Ferrari Spider or an approved used Porsche 911? Check our stock — we have more approved used models being added all the time.

To find your favourite online, use the filters to narrow down your choice. You can search quickly by brand and model, or go wider by looking at body style, mileage and even fuel type — including all-electric.
