In 2022, we established a dedicated Sustainability Team whose main responsibilities include developing the Group's environmental strategy, ensuring compliance with environmental reporting standards, and implementing sustainability initiatives.

By focusing on educating our employees, fostering a strong commitment to change, and making efficient use of resources, we are dedicated to lowering our emissions and continually improving our operations.

Community Engagement 

We believe that being a responsible and active member of our community is an essential part of our business, and are therefore committed to supporting local charities by volunteering our time, resources, and engaging in activities that benefit the wider community.

To further our commitment, we established ‘The Lovett Foundation’ – a charitable cause dedicated to supporting children in care and young adults leaving care across the South West and Wales. Through The Lovett Foundation, we aim to provide these individuals with the assistance, life skills, and experiences they need to contribute to a brighter future.

Working in partnership with local councils and charities that support care leavers and children in care, we are able to identify the most effective ways to support our local community, whether it's through donating our time, goods, or funds.

Supplier Responsibility

Dick Lovett is committed to only working with suppliers and organisations who share our values and meet our high standards for ethical and sustainable practices.

We require all of our suppliers to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, such as the Modern Slavery Act 2015. We have zero tolerance to slavery and human trafficking and regularly perform risk assessments to identify areas of potential risk relating to Modern Slavery.
