With improved performance and an extended electric range, the all-new BMW iX is the ultimate all-electric Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV).

Featuring an electric all-wheel drive system and new battery cell technology, this model delivers even more power and reaches 0-62 mph in 5.1 seconds. The base model now has 110 miles more electric range than its predecessor, covering up to 374 miles* on a single charge. Upgrading to the iX xDrive60 improves this to 426 miles and will have you reaching 62mph in 4.6 seconds or an exceptional 3.8 seconds with the M70 xDrive.

Development of its appearance has certainly not been neglected, despite the considerable improvement to its execution of power. Its strong and striking presence comes from the defined surfaces forming its powerful shape. This is complimented by the upgraded BMW kidney grille, which not only has new visual enhancements with a redesign of the vertical and horizontal lines but hidden intelligent technology like the 360-degree camera and radar system. The headlights also reflect this new vertical structure, which is used in the daytime running lights and indicator.

The improved model offers new finishes including Artic Race Blue metallic, BMW Individual Frozen Pure Grey metallic, and from summer 2025, also Space Silver metallic.

The iX is now available with an M Sport upgrade option, which enhances the overall appearance inside and out, adding exterior high gloss black inserts, blue brake calipers, an M Sport leather steering wheel, M multifunctional seats, and more. The generous space within the cabin ensures a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all travelling. With use of the My BMW App, the iX offers users an improved experience with the opportunity to plan routes that optimise its charge. It can also display charging points on your route, as well as their availability, cost for charging and even the infrastructure within the vicinity of the charging station to ensure you get full benefits from your stop.

Automated Driving and Parking

The all-new BMW iX features as standard, the very latest driving assistance features, bringing a new level to functionality and support. Driving Assistance Plus includes Parking Assistant with Reversing Assistant and Reversing Camera Assist as well as Active Cruise Control with a stop and go function, operational at speeds up to 110mph.

Efficient Charging

The xDrive45 has a combined charging unit allowing for direct current charging with an improved output of 175 kW and a maximum of 195 kW with the xDrive60 and M70 xDrive, this in turn makes for more efficient charging times. Along with this the iX can also use the heat pump from its air-conditioning system to pre-condition the high-voltage battery and heating of the storage system. To further improve this efficiency, the charging socket outlet now has a release button for ease for the driver.
