The Cayenne Electric Has Arrived

Porsche has officially expanded the Cayenne line-up with the debut of its first two fully electric models: the Cayenne Electric and the Cayenne Turbo Electric. Both versions deliver a new benchmark in performance, setting the tone for the future of Porsche.

These latest Cayenne models express the Porsche DNA more clearly than ever. The Cayenne Electric blends high performance with everyday practicality, long-distance comfort, and genuine off-road capability. Its design stands apart from the petrol-powered Cayenne, featuring significant aerodynamic enhancements such as moveable cooling flaps on the front end, air curtains, an adaptive roof spoiler, and a lower rear diffuser. The Turbo variant also adds exclusive active blades at the rear.

It’s inside the cabin where the most dramatic updates appear. The Cayenne Electric’s cockpit is truly impressive, centred around the new Flow Display, the largest and most advanced display surface ever used in a Porsche. This curved OLED screen sweeps across the dashboard and into the centre console, creating a seamless, ergonomic control interface for both driver and passenger. The result is a design that is as visually striking as it is functional.

The Cayenne Electric introduces a suite of advanced interior technologies designed to elevate every journey. Drivers are greeted by a 14.25-inch OLED instrument cluster that clearly displays navigation, driver-assistance functions and power information. Passengers can enjoy an optional 14.9-inch display, allowing them to stream entertainment or manage apps while on the move.

A head-up display with augmented reality projects navigation cues and lane guidance directly onto the driver’s view of the road, creating an immersive 87-inch effective display. To complete the experience, the new Themes app lets you personalise the colour schemes of the digital surfaces, turning the interface itself into an expression of your Cayenne’s design.

Additional highlights include Porsche’s largest ever panoramic roof, an AI-driven voice assistant that understands natural speech, improved interior comfort, a 90L frunk, and a towing capacity of up to 3.5 tonnes. Looking ahead, the model is also expected to become the first to offer Porsche Wireless Charging, planned for release in 2026.

As anticipated from an all-electric Porsche, the performance figures are nothing short of remarkable. Equipped with the largest battery ever fitted to a Porsche, the Cayenne Electric can charge from 10% to 80% in just 15 minutes and offers a driving range of up to 370 miles.

For those seeking maximum excitement, the Cayenne Electric Turbo stands as the most powerful production Porsche to date, producing up to 1,156 PS and accelerating from 0 to 62 mph in 2.5 seconds.
