It is always great to bring together our passionate team to celebrate all things automotive and the forecourt of Porsche Centre Newport was buzzing with energy as incredible array of vehicles arrived for a caffeine fix. This was also the first opportunity some of our team have had to visit the new Porsche building which is six-times the size of the previous site at Porsche Cardiff.
From an R32 Skyline to a Saphire Cosworth, and a BMW E21 to a 924, there was no shortage of horsepower or enthusiasm on the day. After grabbing a cup of coffee from Coffee Gang, attendees took part in a raffle with a selection of fantastic automotive-themed prizes, and admired the variety of vehicles in the car park.

The event raised £250 for the Lovett Foundation. These funds will go directly to support young adults in and leaving care — helping to provide brighter futures and greater opportunities for some of the most vulnerable in our society.
Porsche Centre Newport has already been making a strong commitment to this mission. The team has welcomed care-experienced young people to the dealership for small group tours, offering insights into careers in the automotive industry and showcasing the wide range of roles available. The Porsche brand has an amazing ability to inspire the next generation, and a short visit can open doors to pathways they may not have considered before.
The dealership also played host to an important training session on "Supporting Vulnerable Young People", delivered by 16-25 Independent People. Local employers joined the Porsche Newport team to explore how we, as a community, can better support young people into sustainable, fulfilling employment.
