Pothole damage can be extensive, depending on how deep the pothole was and how hard you hit it. Your car may have suffered wheel, tyre or suspension damage as a result of hitting a pothole.

If you fear you may have hit a pothole, stop the vehicle as soon as it’s safe to do so. Then, run through some quick checks yourself. If you don’t know what to check after hitting a pothole, start with inspecting your MINI for signs of any visible damage to tyres and wheels.

If you can still drive the vehicle, look out for vibrations as you hold the steering wheel. You might also find the car pulls to one side, too. These are signs of pothole damage to the wheel alignment.

Our MINI pothole checks carried out by experienced MINI specialists are free. This means your car will get a thorough once over, without you having to pay a penny. If work is needed, we’ll provide a competitive quote and will talk you through any repairs that are needed before we start the work. If the wheels of your MINI have become misaligned as a result of hitting a pothole, our approved technicians will carry out a wheel alignment service for £149, including VAT. For repair costs of £250 and over, we offer 0% APR finance plans, allowing you to spread payments over a maximum period of six months*.
