At Dick Lovett MINI we want to make sure our customers get the best possible value for money – and that includes finding out if your MINI’s servicing costs are already covered. Did you know that you could be paying twice for your MINI servicing costs, without realising?
Let’s explain. Many MINI owners purchase servicing plans when they buy a new car, but when they sell, or part exchange the vehicle later, the new owner may not be aware the servicing package is still valid, especially if they bought a used MINI from a non MINI-approved dealership. The new owner may be entitled to a MINI free service!
We help our customers check the MINI UK database to find out if their MINI already benefits from a servicing care package. It’s simple to check. Just contact your nearest Dick Lovett MINI dealership with the registration number and model details of your car and our team will carry out the necessary checks for you.
And if your MINI isn’t covered, you may want to consider our MINI Pay Monthly Service Plan or MINI Service Inclusive. Talk to our specialists, who will be able to give you a quote for your next MINI-approved service.
What’s included in a free MINI service depends on the plan in place for your vehicle.
With MINI TLC, the cost of parts, labour and fluids are covered for engine oil service, air filter, micro filter, fuel filter (diesel models only) and spark plugs (petrol models only). All items are covered from the date of first registration for three years, or up to 36,000 miles – whichever occurs sooner.
MINI has an online check available that allows you to see whether your car is still covered with a MINI TLC servicing plan. Click here and enter the registration of your MINI.
With MINI Service Inclusive, all servicing costs for petrol and PHEV models are covered up to the fifth birthday of your vehicle, or up to 62,000 miles – again, whichever occurs sooner. That plan includes an engine oil service, service top-ups, vehicle check, air filter, fuel filter, micro filter, spark plus and brake fluid.
If you’re a MINI owner with a service plan and are thinking of selling your vehicle, there’s an advantage for you, too. Having a MINI servicing package that’s still valid can enhance the resale value of your car.
If your MINI has a Pay Monthly Service Plan, you can transfer any unused credit over to your new MINI.
