We are looking for a Vehicle Technician Apprentice to join our team at BMW Hungerford this year.

We're seeking individuals who are not only proud to work with renowned brands but are also enthusiastic about expanding their knowledge and skills in the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities

What will the Apprenticeship involve?

This apprenticeship offers the unique opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining valuable hands-on experience and working towards a nationally recognised qualification. Upon completion of the three-year programme, you'll have the chance to continue your career with us, joining our successful team at Dick Lovett and continuing to progress as a Vehicle Technician.

If you're enthusiastic and ready to commit to our apprenticeship programme, you'll have the opportunity to achieve an NVQ Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair. Our comprehensive training approach combines classroom-based learning, e-learning modules, practical training, and real-world application, all supported by dedicated trainers and personal mentors.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

Having GCSE’s at Level 4 in English and Maths is essential for this role, you will be asked to confirm your grades when you apply.

This Apprenticeship involves coursework and on the job learning, so ideally you would have at least four GCSE’s at Level 4.

Due to the high volume of applications we receive, we request that you include a project explaining why you would be an excellent fit for this role. We're eager to learn more about what drives you and how you envision contributing to our team.

Application Process:

Once you have confirmed your grades, you will be sent an email with details of how to submit your project.

For this year’s submission, we would like you to include a small project for us to review. You can choose the format! The Project could be:

  • A selection of photos with annotations
  • A video of you presenting
  • A PowerPoint presentation

In the project, we would like you to show us something you are passionate about. It could be:

  • A brand we represent
  • A specific car you love
  • A project you have been working on that you want to tell us about

We want to get to know the ‘you’ behind your Application form, and find out what makes you excited about joining the automotive industry as an Apprentice.

This is your opportunity to go beyond your CV and reveal the person behind the qualifications. Good luck, and let your passion fuel your creativity!
