We are looking for a Bodyshop Estimator to join our team at our Dick Lovett Bodyshop in Swindon to maintain the high quality standards of service and repair that our customers have come to expect from Dick Lovett.
Key Responsibilities
- Compile Vehicle repair estimates in line with Manufacturer guidelines
- Manage relationships with Insurance companies to gain repair Authority
- Issue repair orders and to instruct the Bodyshop Technicians concerning repair procedures and processes.
- Ensure health and safety policies are followed and equipment is safe to use.
- To approve work order and ensure times allotted are not exceeded and that additional work is recorded accurately.
- To ensure that time controls are operated as prescribed by Management.
- Take responsibility for accurate Warranty work.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, working within a customer facing environment.
You will be required to carry out estimating and knowledge of the Audatex system is desirable. A full UK driving licence is required for this role.
We need a proactive, forward thinker who can help the team to maximise profitability through managing the workload in an efficient way while holding the end result for the customer in mind at all times.
Our successful candidate will need to be thorough, methodical, confident and experienced in dealing with third parties such as insurers and engineers. Attention to detail is essential. You will also possess excellent organisational and telephone skills and be computer literate.
