In 2019, to mark the 50th anniversary of the James Bond film On Her Majesty’s Secret Service, Aston Martin unveiled the DBS Superleggera ‘OHMSS’ Edition—an homage to one of the most iconic Bond cars: the 1969 Aston Martin DBS featured in the franchise’s sixth installment.
This special edition fused the blistering performance and muscular design of the DBS Superleggera with styling cues drawn from its cinematic predecessor, resulting in what is arguably the most desirable version of Aston Martin’s flagship V12 supercar. Limited to just 50 units—one for each year since the film’s debut—it also stands as one of the rarest models in the brand’s modern history.
Finished in the same Olive Green paint as the original 1969 DBS, the ‘OHMSS’ Edition featured distinctive diamond-turned and forged 21-inch wheels, a bespoke metal grille with six horizontal vanes mimicking the original car’s front fascia, a carbon fibre splitter, and advanced aerodynamic blades. Inside, the cabin was appointed with luxurious black leather, grey Alcantara, and red accents—a nod to the red-trimmed glovebox from the original film car that concealed James Bond’s telescopic-sight rifle.
