This 1968 example is finished in the wonderfully subtle Grigio Ferro, a colour that suits the Pininfarina penned lines beautifully, paired with a beautifully appointed Pelle Beige leather interior that perfectly evokes the refinement of period Ferrari grand touring. At its heart lies Ferrari’s magnificent 4.0 litre Colombo V12, breathing through triple Weber carburettors and producing a seamless, melodic surge of power that defined the company’s road cars of the era. Smooth, free revving and endlessly charismatic, this engine delivers performance with a sense of occasion that modern cars simply cannot replicate.
The 330 GTC was one of Ferrari’s most technically accomplished road cars of its time, featuring fully independent suspension all round with unequal length double wishbones, coil springs and telescopic dampers — a major step forward in ride quality and handling. Combined with its rear mounted transaxle for near perfect weight distribution, the GTC offers a driving experience that is both engaging and reassuringly composed, even by modern standards.
This particular car benefits from an exceptional full restoration by Dick Lovett Ferrari between 2014 and 2016, carried out to exacting standards and fully documented throughout. The restoration addressed all mechanical, structural and cosmetic aspects, ensuring the car drives as beautifully as it presents today.
