The Ferrari 599 GTB 60F1 Alonso Edition is one of the rarest special editions of the 599 GTB Fiorano, created in late 2011 to celebrate 60 years of Ferrari Formula 1 victories and Fernando Alonsos win at the 2011 British Grand Prix. Based on the more focused 599 HGTE (Handling Gran Turismo Evoluzione) package, it featured upgraded suspension, stiffer anti-roll bars, revised chassis settings, unique 20-inch diamond-finished wheels, and a distinctive Rosso Scuderia and white livery inspired by Ferraris 150° Italia Formula 1 car. The interior received extensive carbon fibre trim, Alcantara racing seats, red and blue harnesses, and a commemorative plaque marking Ferraris F1 success. Ferrari produced approximately 40 examples worldwide, of which only 9 were supplied to the UK in right-hand drive form, making it one of the most exclusive modern Ferrari special editions. Production was limited to 2011-2012, marking the final chapter of the 599 GTB Fiorano before it was replaced by the F12berlinetta.
