In a significant milestone for the UK automotive sector, BMW has officially become the first premium German marque to qualify for the UK Government’s Band 1 Electric Car Grant (ECG).
Two of BMWs most popular all-electric compact models, the BMW iX1 eDrive20 and BMW iX2 eDrive20 now qualify for the maximum £3,750 Government Electric Car Grant, joining a select group of just 15 models nationwide to achieve top-tier Band 1 status.
Alongside this official government support, BMW UK has introduced revised base pricing across the eligible iX1 and iX2 ranges. When combining the manufacturer price adjustments with the grant deduction, drivers can take advantage of total savings of up to £11,640 off previous On-The-Road (OTR) prices.

The £3,750 grant is applied directly at the point of sale on top of BMW's newly adjusted standard On The Road base pricing:
