This modern roadster has been designed to be more dynamic and athletic than its predecessor, producing 145 hp and 149 Nm of torque from its air/liquid-cooled twin-cylinder four-stroke boxer engine. It features a sharp design that reflects its sporty performance and capabilities, enhanced by sport suspension for increased stability, short hand levers, an engine spoiler, and sport tyres.

Available in metallic Snapper Rocks Blue as standard, or upgradable to metallic Racing Blue, for example, you can personalise your R 1300 R to suit your desires. It boasts a newly designed LED headlight with a dynamic octagonal shape, crafted for distinctiveness. The dual-branch rear silencer not only enhances the sound of every journey but also contributes to its sporty appearance.

The seat, footrests, and handlebars are positioned to allow the rider to sit further forward over the front wheel, improving feedback from the front end; especially noticeable during sporty and active riding, thereby increasing controllability. The chassis has been redesigned, with the sheet-metal mainframe made from steel, while the rear is constructed from die-cast aluminium, increasing stiffness and compactness to improve handling further. This is evident in the stable and precise braking, and overall, the bike requires less effort to ride.
