Aston Martin and James Bond have a long, synonymous history. Some may even refer to them both as the very best of British. It was in 1964 that the prestigious DB5 first graced our screens in Goldfinger and now over 50 years on the partnership is bigger and better than ever.
With the latest installment of Bond due in cinemas April 2021, the team at Aston Martin Lagonda have announced two extremely limited models to commemorate the 25th film NO TIME TO DIE.
These two very special vehicles have been crafted by the Aston Martin Q Division, who offer the ultimate in bespoke personalisation services. The first of the two is the Vantage 007 Edition, designed to pay homage to original V8 Vantage which first appeared in The Living Daylights in 1987 and will make a cameo appearance in NO TIME TO DIE. The second vehicle, the DBS Superleggera 007 Edition has been designed to match the range-topping DBS that will feature in the upcoming film, driven by Mr Bond himself.

Limited to 100 units globally, the 007 Edition Vantage will be finished in Cumberland Grey, an authentic exterior paint colour. This new car has a host of additional exterior styling including a bespoke mesh grille with chrome bezel, a vented side strake and a dashed yellow diffuser which pays homage to the hazard strips on the original cars rockets. Optionally, the Vantage 007 Edition can even come with a set of limited edition skis and ski rack another reference on the original film car.
Inside the cabin you will find Obsidian Black leather with dark chrome contrasts, a key feature is the embroidered ‘96.06’ sun visors, which honour the radio frequency used by Bond in the iconic 1987 escape scene. The Q Team have worked hard to replicate Bonds ‘gadget control panel’ in the shape of a laser etched plaque, whilst crosshairs can be seen etched into the paddle shifters to mimic the missile launch button.
Carbon fibre seat backs, and unique heritage fluting are a subtle nod to the original V8 Vantage, whilst you will have the option of either a manual or automatic gearbox. Cars equipped with a manual gearbox will have 007 branding across the centre console.
With even smaller numbers available, the global market will see just 25 of the DBS Superleggera 007 Edition. Already the most menacing of the Aston Martin lineup, the DBS 007 Edition is a potent package.
Designed in special Ceramic Grey paint, the roof, mirror caps, splitter, diffuser and rear Aeroblade compliment it perfectly in black tinted carbon fibre. New to this car are Gloss Black diamond-turned Y-Spoke 21inch wheels, alongside a subtle 007 fender badge.
The cockpit of the DBS is designed in dark leather with hints of red detailing to outline the seats. An array of 007 branding can also be identified throughout the vehicle, on the door cards and rear sub-woofer cover.
The specification matches exactly with that of the car in the film and all examples are finished with a sill plaque to recognise it is 1 of just 25 cars.
Whilst limited in numbers, these cars are available exclusively through official Aston Martin retailers, such as Aston Martin Bristol. Customer deliveries will be expected from early 2021, which means there isn't much time to wait if you want to drive just like Mr Bond himself.
It is likely these cars will be snapped up pretty quickly, but if you are an avid Aston Martin fan, get in contact with us and it will be mission accomplished!
